Clever News Briefing

Editorial policy

Clever News Briefing aims to make news-reading choices easier to see. We value accuracy, context and clear limits, and we distinguish what a story states from what a reader might infer.

Accuracy and sourcing

We check factual statements against suitable, traceable material before publication and make clear when a point is an example, an interpretation or a matter of uncertainty. We do not present a source's statement as independent confirmation, and we revise wording when its confidence exceeds the support available.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from editorial work. A placement does not buy an editorial conclusion or an undisclosed endorsement.

Corrections

If a published detail is wrong or materially unclear, we review it and correct the text. Readers can flag a concern through the Contact page. Where a correction changes the meaning of a piece, we aim to make that change visible rather than quietly obscuring it.

Illustrations and tools

Some illustrations may be generated with AI tools. When an illustration is AI-generated, we label it accordingly; it is not evidence for a factual claim. Any tool-assisted material is reviewed before publication.

Our point of view

Curiosity beats the first impression

News reading gets more rewarding when we pause over the choices on the page. We look for clues, test our assumptions and stay open to what we do not yet know.
